The challenge
QCOne ran on an outdated Ruby application that had never been optimized. It was hard to maintain and extend, while their day-to-day operation relied on it completely. They wanted it modernized without bringing their business to a halt.
What we did
We took over the existing codebase. The transition ran without interruption, so QCOne simply kept working. From there we modernized the application and cleared the problems that had built up. What is left is maintainable and easy to extend.
